About the Green Home program Submit your Energy Hero StorySubmit your Energy Hero Story
Residents in Northern Virginia are taking action to green their homes, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and foster environmental stewardship. Together, even small projects can add up to a big positive change for Northern Virginia and for our planet.
Please help us to highlight examples of “Sustainability @Home” by sharing your green home project with us. Whether you recently completed a low-cost project like installing weather stripping, or made a larger investment in a geothermal heat pump, we want to hear from you. After you submit your story to novagreenhome@novaregion.org, NVRC will review it and publish it to on the Our Energy Heroes section on the NOVA Green Home website. As we continue to publish new stories, we hope that our Energy Heroes will inspire and empower other residents to do their part to reduce energy use and create green, healthy homes in Northern Virginia.
